How to Accept Firm Offer at UKZN?
South Africa is one of the most developed countries in the world with the highest literacy rate. All credits go to its exceptional institutes that ensure standard education. The University of KwaZulu-Natal, also known as UKZN, is one of the most popular institutes in South Africa, with five campuses and four colleges.
It offers various programs for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students. I won’t be wrong if I say it is one of the best universities in South Africa, and you will be lucky if you get accepted at UKZN.
Though the application process for UKZN is relatively easy through its website, many people don’t know the procedure for accepting a firm offer at UKZN. If you recently got admission at UKZN but don’t know the further process, the following article is all you need.
How To Accept Firm Offer At UKZN?
When I was new at applying for UKZN, I didn’t know much about how to accept a firm offer at UKZN and thus faced a lot of hurdles. I have listed essential steps in the following article to help you quickly accept a firm offer at UKZN.
One of the most important things you must remember about a firm offer at UKZN is that you must accept it within three days. Furthermore, the firm acceptance procedure for undergraduate students is now online. Thus, you can easily accept an offer through an email sent by UKZN by clicking on the link mentioned in the email.
Offer Acceptance Fee
Once you receive a firm offer email from the university, you first must pay an offer acceptance fee. The offer acceptance fee for South African first-time applicants is R250.
There is no offer acceptance fee for postgraduate students. In addition, international full-time applicants must pay their tuition and residence fees in full before they can register.
One of the factors you must be mindful of when paying this fee is that this fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another applicant or carried over to the following year. Additionally, if you have already accepted an offer and later want to take a different offer, you must decline your first acceptance before getting a new offer.
Offer Acceptance Process
As I mentioned, the offer acceptance process at UKZN for undergraduate students is now online. Students receive an email from the university that contains a link. All you need to do is click the link and follow the instructions.
Login to your ID on the university’s portal to access the UKZN Student iEnabler to indicate acceptance of an application. It’s time to submit your essential documents in the required fields for further proceeding. One thing you must remember about submitting the documents is that you must download, complete, and sign the Acceptance of Offer and Indemnity documents and submit them with other documents to avoid inconvenience in the future.
